"El Hijo de la Lágrima"

I saw this album cover today. It belongs to a Charly García’s album called “El Hijo de la Lágrima”. I like it because I think it is a great representation of the “darkness” that someone can feel immersed in. When I say “darkness” I mean sadness, uncertainty, confusion, lack of motivation, amongst others. The bottom of the cover is black, the typical colour that indicates darkness. In the middle of the cover there’s a tear, so the message is even more direct. I would interpret it as the sadness of someone who feels out of tune, in a black world, where there is neither eye sight nor shapes. But who says that we can’t see in the darkness? When I look at this album cover, I can see how I felt some years ago when being through a difficult moment in my life.
P.D: Later, I realized I had a lapse!because it always said:"La hija de la lágrima"! I think I got so much into it, that I didn't read enough...
